A beautiful video trailer of Christmas for a Kitten!

On May 7, I'll be speaking with Lynn Rowe Reed in connection with teh release of our new book Silent Letters Loud and Clear, at the IRA (International Reading Association), Atlanta, Georgia. Punctuation, Parts of Speech, Silent Letters: What a Cast of Colorful Characters! Robin Pulver and Lynn Rowe Reed reveal how they breathe life into language arts.

READ! PERFORM! LEARN! Volume 2 (Upstart Books): Readers' Theater scripts and author interviews from Toni Buzzeo, including a script for Axle Annie and the Speed Grump and a Robin Pulver interview.

TeachingBooks.net has a new audio offering, "Author Name and Pronunciation Guide," the "first-ever" collection of authors and illustrators pronouncing and sharing anecdotes about their own names, including mine!

Don't forget!

TEACHER'S GUIDES!!! Full of ideas that span the curriculum for Author Day for Room 3T,

To help you prepare for an author visit (any author!) or undertake an author study (any author!).

"A surefire hit! A great springboard for any author visit!"- School Library Journal
"The funniest book this season!" -Washington Parent
"Absolutely fabulous fun" - Midwest Book Review

"The kids in Room 3T have prepared and prepared for a visit from their favorite author, Harry Bookman. Even so, this author visit is packed with surprises!" See author comments and more reviews in Books.

And if your school plans a spring field day, Nouns and Verbs Have a Field Day. would be a great way to connect it with what happens in the classroom.

"The creators of Punctuation Takes a Vacation sentence readers to a good time with this follow-up..."
"...high-energy scenes... playful introduction to words..." -- Kirkus

A Book-of-the-Month-Club "dual main selection" (along with Punctuation Takes a Vacation) for May 2006.

If school bus safety is a concern with the changing weather, Axle Annie and the Speed Grump is a good discussion-starter and a great read-aloud.

".....lives up to the high standard of its predecessor, Axle Annie....The exuberant cartoons conspire with the outrageous prose to present a lesson in road safety that's both goofy and memorable....all the requisite qualities of a big hit." - School Library Journal
