What's New:
Last Modified: Sept. 9, 2005 - (remember to sign up for the mailing list to get news when it's even newer!)
Axle Annie and the Speed Grump, illustrated by Tedd Arnold (Dial Books for Young Readers). Why do Axle Annie and her school bus make Rush Hotfoot so grumpy? Rush is always in a hurry and in a bad mood, but Axle Annie can handle him. She has two hands on the wheel and nerves of steel! This action-packed, hilarious companion to AXLE ANNIE should help the school year get off to a great, safety-conscious start. See author comments and reviews in BOOKS | |
Author Day for Room 3T illustrated by Chuck Richards (Clarion Books). The kids in Room 3T have prepared and prepared for a visit from their favorite author, Harry Bookman. Even so, this author visit is packed with surprises! "A sublimely silly offering," "a surefire hit," and "a great springboard for any other visit." (All according to School Library Journal.) See author comments and reviews in BOOKS. |
